I can't give enough praise for a fellow who is mellow with a well-turned phrase

Sometimes it ain't what they say, it's how they say it. It ain't the pay, it's how they pay it, it ain't the hand they're dealt, it's how they play it and it ain't the law they make, it's how well they obey it.

I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT HIM

by Stan C. Countz, copyright 2010, all rights reserved

Verse 1:
I used to pray and hope to own these things
Like cars and boats and million dollar rings
But now I know it ain’t ‘bout what you own
‘Cuz it’s just a house if He ain’t in your home

Verse 2:
I can live without the house up on the hill
I can live without the candy, fluff and frills
I can live without the fancy clothes and cars
But I can’t live without Him in my heart

Chorus:
I used to do what I had to do to win
I used to think I had to sink or swim
But now I know I must be born again
And I know I can’t live without Him

Verse 3:
He’s the reason why I sing this song
He watches over me all night long
He gave His life for me on Calvary
He died that I might live eternally

Outro:
I used to do what I had to do to win
I used to think I had to sink or swim
But now I know that I was born in sin
And I know that I can’t live without Him
Yes I know that I can't live without Him
